Welcome to the fun filled Summer Programs at Yorktown Montessori School. Our aim is to provide a happy and caring environment where children, age 2 ½ to 6 years, discover the fun and joy to learn and play, under the supervision of our caring staffs, and councillors.

Programs

Children are encouraged to participate in varieties of activities, which include story time, games, art & crafts, cooking, music, drama, sports and/or scientific explorations and lots of hands on activities. Bi-weekly outings may be scheduled to local attractions, library, or Fire station, etc. Information and permission form will be sent home prior to the trip. Detail of daily activities will be posted at the school prior to each session during the summer. Parents can register their children for 1 or all 4 sessions offered. Children can be registered for the session in half day, full day, or extended full days programs.

Registration Policy

  • Registration form must be submitted with a non-refundable registration fee of $30.00 per family before May 31st to ensure space is (are) available for your child(ren). Early registration is recommended as registration is on first come first serve basis.
  • Submit one registration form per child, along with the fees for the session(s) you are registering.
  • The non-refundable registration fee of $30.00 is waived for children who registered for 2 or more sessions.
  • Please make checks payable to Yorktown Montessori School.
  • Medical/or health information must be specified where applicable.

Refund Policy

There is no refund or credits for the time the child’s absence due to any reason.

Due to circumstances, under the following conditions, the fees for the remaining session registered may be refunded less the non-refundable administration fee of $30.00:

  • For cancellation received in writing before June 17 th.
  • If the child is to be withdrawn from the school for the remaining session due to illness of 2 or more consecutive weeks, a 50% refund of the days missed will be made if the written request is accompanied by a doctor’s certificate.
  • If the teachers/staffs and school administrator feel that the child is not adapting to the school environment, the child may be requested to be withdrawn from the school.
